Kgotlelelang Primary School Policy

PREAMBLE

The staff of Kgotlelelang Primary School unanimously agreed to the drawing of a good school policy which will serve as a guideline to the administration, teaching roles and interpersonal relations between the staff, the pupils and the parents.

Kgotlelelang has several school policies which have been agreed upon by the staff, SGB and learners. This are linked to the legal frameworks like the South African School’s Act, Education Law and Policy, Employment Equity Act, Basic Condition of Employment Act and South African Council of Educator

School Policy Amendments

a. School motto: Persevere, Endure and Prosper.
b. Time: The school day/ lessons start at 08H00.
c. the lessons shall end at 14H00 and the school day
at 15H00.
d. School colours: Navy blue dress and White shirts
e. Corporal punishment: As per school Act of 1996 Section 10
f. Subject allocation: Teachers shall be allocated subjects by the HOD
g. The previous records of performance to be the
yardstick for determining allocation.
